Various stakeholders need to work in tandem

Dear Hasina and Team Impulse NGO Network, I write this post with an intent to express my gratitude personally and also on behalf of the Nagaland Police, for the recent exposure trip to Myanmar and Thailand. Besides the many knowledge we gained in the trip, the sincerity and dedication of you and your team was very glaring. It exhibited your leadership qualities and your interpersonal skills. That, in its own ways was another area which impressed me and also served as a learning experience. The arrangements of the trip were meticulous and without any hitches. Your team ensured the utmost comfort of the delegates to the point that we actually felt pampered and gradually at times. Some of us started behaving like spoilt grumpy brats. The opportunity to meet new people, interact with officials outside the country, see places and their culture, eat different foods, etc was an experience of a lifetime. On a serious note, the issue of Human Trafficking is a crime upon Humanity and a problem that requires various stakeholders to work in tandem. One platform for such actions is provided for through the Impulse Case Info Centre (ICIC) - both national and transnational. The promotion and use of the ICIC is a need on priority. I can contribute to this effort by ensuring the Nagaland Police in general becomes an active user over time and realize the utility of such platform. All the more, its relevance will become more prominent once the SOP with Myanmar is finalized as we share a common Border. Thank you once again for the opportunity and hope the journey in this endeavour will bring us together again. God bless you and your team for the good works towards humanity. Godspeed.
